What appears in the Git repo, which matches what I find when I unzip the download, is pretty clearly meant for Docker installation. But the instructions on the main site and in the readme.md all refer to a PHP application that's installed with a simple 'download > unzip > upload > install' workflow.
I don't want to deal with Docker, and your instructions indicate I shouldn't have to. What am I missing here?
For the latest official, published v.4.x release, download from here: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cms/download
But (!!), be informed, there is currently no really stable 4.x release!
Either you stay or use the latest 3.0.4.1 version: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... load_id=79
or wait until the new (and hopefully stable) release of 4.1.0.4 (or will be maybe 4.1.1.0 or 4.2.0.0) is released.
