I’m running an OpenCart (v4) store and finding that most email marketing tools feel like overkill for my needs. I’m not aiming for high-pressure conversions with every send, just looking for a simple way to share regular updates or editorial-style content with my customers.
I recently came across https://gritt.io/, which looks promising : clean, content-focused, and less complex than the usual platforms. I’m curious if anyone here has tried integrating it with OpenCart, or found a similarly lightweight solution that plays well without too much backend hassle.
Would love to hear what’s worked for you.
Cheers.

What about the built-in system?lex360byte wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 8:53 pmRunning an OpenCart (v4) store and starting to feel that the usual email marketing tools are a bit overkill for what I need. That is good choice if you have a regular newsletter and huge list to send out.
Did used in past but with my ERP.

And at that stage of the OpenCart development and the bugs any v.4.x version still has, it's better to use 3.0.4.0 https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... load_id=74 with a liveshop!

Either with an extension or an embedded form I would definitely recommend Mautic self hosted. In my experience though it requires a decent hosting account to run it. I've got a VPS and it's fine. When I was on a shared hosting account it was sluggish.OSWorX wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:32 pmFor Mautic there a few extensions to use with OpenCart: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... rch=mautic
