I looked at Ocmod in Opencart 4.1.x and found out that it works differently from Opencart 3.x. It requires to change the namespace in modified files!!! Why did they make it like this instead of transparent file modification similar to Opencart 3 and vqmod? I don't understand developers of Opencart at all and how they got to those strange decisions. I am pretty sure the current ocmod approach is a dead technology along with event system that they try to keep alive. VQMOD is a good option at this moment and I am still working on kamod although I don't see any significant reason to make extensions for Opencart 4.

Yeah that's not ideal.

I'm always a fan of simplicity, so anything that complicates the process for developers is not good in my view.

Really the simplest possible solution here is something very similar to vQmod without having to adjust namespaces.
