[CLOSED] Cannot use or remove Import/Export Tool

I have OC 4.1.0.3 installed.

I have then installed the Import/Export Tool v4.1.7.9

After installation, when I go under System > Maintenance, it does not appear and I have enabled it.

I now try to remove it and this error is appearing.

How can I correct this?

First: you should tell us more > unless you can provide some details, nobody will be able to help you here.
Please read the Forum Rules before proceeding.

Second: the message tells you already what's wrong .. you have to uninstall before you can continue ..
What now do you expect from us here?

Before you uninstall it at Extensions > Installer > Export Import Tool > Uninstall, you have to do the Extensions > Extensions > Other > Export/Import Tool > Uninstall first.

Also, the most likely reason why you didn't see the System > Maintenance > Export / Import in the first place was because the access/modify rights weren't set for it at System > Users > User Groups.

The extension does not appear in any other categories, including "other"

I have verified the permissions and also confirmed that my account is in the Administrators group.

One thing I noticed is that there is duplicate entry in the permission for the Import/Export tool.

• I enabled access and modify for both entries, logged out/in and the extension is still not appearing.
  I have also checked

As this installation is just for testing before I attempt to go live, I may just erase it and reinstall.

Feel really sorry .. but I have enough empathy.
And when I point you in that direction, it has a reason: we here are tired of messages like that.

Users here are answering, because they have the knowledge and the time for it .. and want to help others.
And now is one writing (e.g. as sample ..):

Does not automatically implements that the user Administrator in your system has the rights to "access" and "edit".
You should also check the details!

And here again: uncomplete information!
