Autocomplete not working

Opencart 4.1.0.0

When trying to add a product the autocomplete fields don't work
The weel keeps spinning
Inspection console gives a 401 Permission Denied, the return from the query is HTML (the admin page) with Permission denied.

Tried so far:
Disabling 2 extensions that were later installed.
Trying different browsers to no avail.
Permissions for Admins are set correctly in user groups

Don't know anything further to do.

Please advice

Most likely blocked by your server, specifically something like Mod Security, so ask your host to turn that off.

Wait at least until the upcoming 4.1.0.4, OpenCart 4.1.x.x versions are still subject to development and bugfixes . Or, for a live website, use the stable OpenCart 3.0.4.0.
