We have two separate inventory files—one for US stock and one for Chinese stock—that contain information on product models, colors, sizes, and quantities. The goal is to merge these two files into a single database, where we can calculate the total quantity available for each unique combination of model, color, and size. This involves matching the model, color, and size across both files, then summing the quantities from the US and Chinese inventories to get the total. If any quantity in either file is negative, it should be imported as zero to avoid reducing the total available inventory. This ensures that the other file with a positive quantity will result in a positive total in the database. This process guarantees an accurate representation of the combined inventory from both regions, helping with better stock management and reporting. For instance, let’s say in the US file, there is an entry for Model A, Color Red, Size M with Quantity 50, and in the China file, the same model/color/size combination has Quantity 30. The merge will sum these quantities to give a Total Quantity of 80 for that model/color/size combination.

Hello There,
Greetings!

I can help merge the US and China inventory files, match by model/color/size, and sum quantities—treating negatives as zero. This will ensure accurate total stock data in a single database. Let’s discuss the details.

Please share your contact details so that we can discuss this further.
