When looking in my google console I don't see my social media profiles linking back to my site. I really don't know how this works, but would linking TO my social media profiles from my website essentially force google to see the profiles are linked to my site when they crawl to them? Or are the profiles blocking outgoing links from being seen?

It would really be helpful if you could provide your website URL, especially for the pages with the social media links. Otherwise, it's quite difficult to help you here.
