Problems with JavaScript Function Execution After OpenCart v3 Update

Since updating OpenCart to version 3.0.3.8, I’ve been experiencing issues with some of my custom JavaScript functions not executing properly. For example, a simple function to change product images on hover no longer works, even though it was running fine before.

Here’s the situation:

The JavaScript code is included in the footer, as usual.
I’ve checked the browser console and there are no critical errors.
The functions seem to run intermittently or don’t fire at all after certain user actions (like hovering or clicking).
Has anyone had issues with JavaScript execution after this update? Do I need to make changes to the way JavaScript is loaded in the newer OpenCart version?

You mentioned custom javascript? Is it part of some extension? From which versions you upgraded can you share the site url?
