For shop owners thinking about this setup... don't. Just run Apache and be done. There I've saved you days and days of pulling your hair out.... I guess you could get someone to do it...if it's in your budget.
I will be installing Apache tomorrow even if I have to wipe my VPS and start over. I've wasted too much time thinking I could get Nginx to work. My site has ran for years perfectly on Apache.
And as for why... the consensus was that it was faster. But now seeing posts saying its not...so its a draw then.
Amazon is going to kill us all anyway.
