Free Bulk Category Product to Customer Group modifier

Just been adding a load of products from our old x-cart site to the new OPencart one by import for our site.

The one thing, that we didn't realise, was that they weren't added to any customer group. So the thought of adding them to any particular group by hand was brain numbing. So wrote a quick routine that will do it for you.

It will only do it on on 1 category and one group ID at a time, but still a lot quicker than having to do each product individually.

Essentially, input the Category ID number and input the customer group ID number and off it goes.

You may also have to mod the table names to suit yours, ours is pretty standard.

It is not a mod that is selectable from within Opencart, it works from outside of opencart in its own subdir and is called from there.

You will have to put your own database credentials in.

If you change to code for the better please place it here for other users to benefit from. I make no apologies for the coding, I'm 70 years old and am not into people saying I should have done this or that. Change it if you wish, up to you.
