Has anyone else noticed inconsistencies with module versions and descriptions when editing or updating modules on the OpenCart Marketplace? For instance, sometimes after making changes to a module's description or version, the updates don't always reflect properly in the marketplace listing. Even after clearing the cache, the version number or description might still show outdated information, which can cause confusion for both developers and customers.
Additionally, I’ve encountered an issue where, after updating a module description (such as fixing a typo or adding more details), the changes only take effect once. If I try to make further edits to correct or refine the description, it appears as though the system is caching the old version of the text and doesn't show the new one, even after multiple attempts. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it? Lastly, I’ve seen a persistent issue where the cloud price for a module always shows as 0, regardless of the actual price I set in the admin panel. Even after updating the price and syncing with the marketplace, the value remains unchanged. This could be a syncing issue between OpenCart Renta Ciudadana the cloud system, or perhaps a bug in the marketplace API, but I’d love to hear if others are facing this and if there are any effective workarounds.

Welcome to the world of CloudFlare! It can take a few hours, or even up to a day, for your description changes to show up.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but yea it's probably due to CloudFlare's caching. For my extensions, I use images for my extension descriptions hosted in a CDN, so that I can force update the descriptions without having to wait for OpenCart's CloudFlare cache to update. That being said, there really isn't much you can do about content that is hosted on OpenCart's site, such as links, text descriptions, the extension's price, versioning, etc.Judith75Hodges wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 12:16 pmHas anyone else noticed inconsistencies with module versions and descriptions when editing or updating modules on the OpenCart Marketplace?
