i set my shop up a few months ago and am getting old so for the life of my can't remember how i created a payment option called "phone card details". I searched on forum but all the answers said it was in languages but i have nothing under languages. I need to change the wording as someone asked what a phone card was :-(

I am using Version 3.0.3.9. The only payment methods i have enabled are Squareup and Cash on Delivery which i guess i changed to "phone card details" somehow. You will understand my problem when you get in your 60's :-)

Simple: Menu > Design >> Language Editor
There click on the blue button right top (if not already created) and select then under Route the needed extension/payment/*

* = yours > Squareup and Cash on Delivery

Hi Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Unfortunatly the only blue box on the language page is a + sign and when i click that it just says "Add Translation".
I also can only see on the second reply the picture as a small thumbnail, i can't click it or anything to see what it is.
I know i must have created this at some point but my 60 year old memory is not remembering how or where. It's no biggy, in the last few months we only had 2 orders and both of those cancelled, one because we only post out 2 days a week (noted on the shop before she ordered) due to restrictions placed on us by planning when we built our warehouse and the other because she got confused about what a phone card was.

Take a look https://docs.opencart.com/en-gb/developer/module/
The orange box on the end is LANGUAGES
If you have ftp you can take a look in those files (which is in simple terms the source for editor above)

Payment gateways often put it in the files themselves - so it could be in the red or green box also
Probably files under extension/payment within those.

So as an example
catalog/language/en-gb/extension/payment/squareup.php
catalog/controller/extension/payment/squareup.php
catalog/view/theme/default/template/extension/payment/squareup.twig

You could also download all the files and use your local system to search inside the files to see if you can find the text?
There are also programs available to search for text within files

DISCLAIMER:
You should not modify core files .. if you would like to donate a cup of coffee I will write it in a modification for you.

Maybe you didn't do it and it's a hack?

If i understand what you mean by hack, you think someone else added that method?
It is a payment method we use on our existing HTML hand coded website, just in case customers don't feel safe putting their card details on a website.
Not sure why a hacker would want customers to phone us their card details, the only phone number on the site is ours :-) but thanks for taking the time to see if that could have been the cause - unless i missunderstood what you ment ?

Hopefully another quick question on this topic.
Is there any way of formatting what i put in this field?
Alternatively where are the words that appear on the exit page when "phone card" is chosen? At the moment it just says "Your order has been successfully processed!
Please direct any questions you have to the store owner.
Thanks for shopping with us online!"
I really need it to show the phone number and times, i assumed i could put it in the "phone card" bit but it all comes on one line.
I tried langauge > checkout/sucess but that doesn't say any of the above just "your order has been placed"
Sorry to be a pain.

I found it :-)
Actually i followed the instructions from "by mona" above and downloaded the language files. Online there are only twig files which did not seem to have the wording i wanted, but the php files i downloaded DID have the wording, so happy days.
