Hi,

I have installed the paypal commerce extension but can't get buttons to show up on any of the pages.

see attached file to see what's happening. It seems like some script is not loading up.

Any suggestion please.

Try testing with the default theme.

This is not the default theme; it's a modification affecting your store. To identify the cause, try disabling extensions one by one to pinpoint which one is responsible. Once identified, you can reach out to the developer—whether it's the extension developer or a third party—for a fix.

I contacted theme developer who can't help so looks like only option is 3rd party developer.

If anyone reading can fix it for a paid task, please drop a pm.

First thing to try is disabling the offending extension.

This is a typical example of a poor-quality 3rd party theme extension which doesn't follow OpenCart standards:

public_html/catalog/view/theme/default/template/octemplates/module/oct_category_wall.twig
is in a wrong folder structure. It should be this:
public_html/catalog/view/theme/default/template/extension/module/oct_category_wall.twig

Also, what does a theme extension got to do with a category wall module? This looks to me like someone wrongly presenting a module extension as a theme, almost as bad as the Journal3 framework.

Which theme do you recommend that is lightweight and well written?

Where possible we always build on the default theme.

I had a similar issue where all I could see was spinning loading wheel and could never continue.
I don't totally remember the cause, but try turning off browser blockers.
Don't think that was my issue. I think it was a caching issue from another extension.
I use Opencart Lightning to speed up the website and I think I had to add an exception to a couple pages to allow the Paypal buttons to load.
