Hi
I am new to OpenCart. My friend has his OpenCart 3.0.2.0 store and we want to upgrade it to the latest version and to rebrand the whole store. Can somebody help me with instructions how can I do this? We want to have the same host and domain, just upgrade the version

What's your reason for upgrading? OC 3.0.4.0 is pretty good and stable.glebtov wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 3:20 amHi

If OC 3.0.2.0 functions suitable for your business and stable enough, keep this version is the best.
Don't do it. 4 has no needed features over and above 3.0.4.0 other than misery and disapointment.
But also, change in extension system so that 3.x extension won't work with 4.x and there are many many good 3.x extensions that are not and will not be available for 4.0.x

If there’s no specific reason to switch to version 4, stick with version 3.0.4.0 for updates instead.
