One of my OpenCart domains is hosted in AWS. I have used SMTP settings to send contact emails. But mail is not sending through that. While checking the logs, the server is trying to send email through AWS server, not through the G Suite account that I have configured in SMTP. In SMTP settings, I have used 465, but while sending email in contact us, it is trying to send emails through port 25.

Port 25 is for sure blocked ny most providers because its used for spam. But you set the port in the mail settings yourself. Nowadays I think 587 is the port used with TLS certificate

Sounds strange that you've set your port to 465 but it's using port 25 to send the emails. Do try using TLS and port 587.

Also, since you mentioned that your OpenCart website is hosted in AWS, I assume it's an EC2 instance? Are there any errors when OpenCart is sending emails through the contact form?

We really wouldn't recommend AWS, we've found it such a pain to work with.

you can use gmail instead, but you need to create an app password for it.
