Cart total not updating with size option price increase

Hello all -- Im really new to opencart, so bear with me please. I tried searching, but didn't come up with anything helpful.

I have a new install of Opencart, self hosted Version 4.1.0.0 -- fully stock install, as provided in the github download.

I'm having an issue where I have an product listed for $45.00. With the size option added where it should be +5.00 for size 2XL. Everything shows up correctly on the product page, and when I select the 2XL option it has a ($5.00) next to the option. However -- the price isn't being reflected in the shopping cart. Its still only showing the base price.

Any ideas about what Im missing here?

Are you using this for a live site?

OpenCart 4.1.0.0 is still under development and shouldn't be used on live sites. If come across bugs, please report them on https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues .

For live sites we recommend using OpenCart 3.0.4.0.

We'll down grade then and go from there! Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize 4.1 version wasn't ready for production use. Thanks!
