Using the built in Customer Custom fields allows you to do that.

Usually all existing extensions do only a simple - and no valid! - check of somewhat is called "Age Check".
User can define his age and the stupid logic in the extension will accept any input - as long the age is over as required by law (14/16/18 or 21).
Beside this, no log is made.
So, what for are these extensions?
To be honest .. for nothing - just a "cosmetic" whatever.
Need a true check of age?
By any ID-Card or/and Passport?
No matter from which country in this world?

Requires a service provider to consent a customer's age on anyhow.
