If I'm using OpenCart 4.0 on a mobile phone and click to upload a photo, can I upload a photo by taking photo directly? Why can't I take a photo directly when using Chrome on an iPhone?

I created a special module for this.
Unfortunately, it's currently only available for OpenCart 3.x.

It seems like this issue is related to browser limitations on iPhone. Some browsers, like Chrome on iPhone, may not support the direct "take photo" option due to iOS restrictions. You can try using Safari, as it's the native iOS browser and may work better. Learn more about scarletdownload.com here.

I literally just tried this on my own installation of OpenCart 4.0.2.3 on Chrome with my iPhone, and was able to select the "Take Photo or Video" option when I click on the blue "Upload" button in OpenCart's Image Manager. Managed to take a photo and upload it directly with no problem. Chrome did request for permission to access the camera though so if you're having issues with that, try checking your permissions.
