So I found this extension installed in my Install History (Extensions --> Installer --> Install History)
install(forOC3.x).ocmod.zip | 08/22/2024
I don't remember installing it, it's not in my change log. I have no clue what it is nor what it does.
Is there any way to figure out what this is and what files it installed? Don't want to just remove it and mess up something.

Well, UNzip it locally and look, what files it includes
My Github OC Site: https://github.com/IP-CAM
5'600 + FREE OC Extensions, on the World's largest private Github OC Repository Archive Site.
Haha if I had the file locally would be pretty easy wouldn't it
But in all seriousness, the REMOVE button next to install history, how does it know what files to DELETE, when you click it?
There has to be a list of files recorded somewhere so that the REMOVE button knows what it needs to delete

Even if you do not have a local staging environment to deploy and test before you move it to production, it is actually a very good practice to keep a local copy of not just your extension files you installed but your entire site.supak111 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 1:40 amHaha if I had the file locally would be pretty easy wouldn't it

It makes it much easier to search for code and you always have a local backup.
I do keep a few copies of my entire side and all the extensions used locally, thats why this one was weird to me because I didn't have it locally AND it wasn't in the changelog I keep for everything I do or install.
I started thinking maybe someone hacked in and installed something like a back door.
But after more digging I noticed it gets installed anytime you install any iSenseLabs extension and they have some good extensions I use and on that date I updated one of them.
