Is there anything available that will take a database from OC version 3.0.4.0 and convert it properly to OC version 4? Please don't suggest some spreadsheet export/import.

Well, you better wait until OC v.4.x has grown up to an Adult Version, it's just not yet ready to be used as such ...

Not to my knowledge. Even the built-in upgrade function will almost always fail, especially when using non-OpenCart frameworks such as Journal3.head_dunce wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 9:27 pmIs there anything available that will take a database from OC version 3.0.4.0 and convert it properly to OC version 4? If you really want to go with an OpenCart 4 release (none are yet stable enough for a live site, still subject to bugfixes and changes), then you'll have to manually install it from scratch.
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
I did do an install from scratch. I did attempt to merge my OC3 db to OC4 via some Perl scripts. It kinda worked. I was just hoping to pay someone who took the time to figure it out. Seems like a missed opportunity for the extension developers.

you can install a demo and then compare and update the database tables one by one.
