Hello,
can anyone help me? I messed my default index.php on public.html folder because I press "site builder" on my web hosting control panel and it overwrite it, and I cannot open my store now. I found a default index.php file on github but its for oc 4 and I also get an error
"Notice: Undefined variable: application_config in /home/toniasha/domains/tonias-handmade.com/public_html/system/framework.php on line 8
Notice: Error: Could not load config ! in /home/toniasha/domains/tonias-handmade.com/storage/modification/system/library/config.php on line 63
"
I can still login to my admin page, fortunately....
Please can anyone help me, I'm so dumb and I broke into tears...
Nevermind , I found it, there was index.php on the root of the domain folder, I overwrite it to public_html folder and now site works fine....
Making backup now...lesson learned....
I my god I never thought that it was so easy to mess your site!

For anyone else, or in case you have not done it correctly.
Always know your correct OC version in all four digits
You can find your version in the footer at the bottom of every admin page ( if you have used a maintenance branch keep a copy locally and consider doing this anyway)
Download a copy of the same version from https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... ad/history
Unzip and copy the same index.php from the SAME version as your OC
