As part of my testing I have enabled 3 payment methods
1. Paypal (many thanks to the forum for that!)
2. Cash on Delivery
3. Free checkout
However, none of these options is available at checkout.
The items are digital downloads
What am I missing?
Are you using the default OpenCart checkout? If yes, did you restrict these payment methods to a specific Geo Zone and your address used at checkout is not within the restricted Geo Zone?

Min. order is set for each payment method.
I think because they're downloads they might require the customer to have an account?

OK, so in my frustration I have reinstalled Opencart - haven't changed anything.
When I add the demo imac to the cart, choose guest checkout and add a uk address, I am unable to choose a "Shipping method" or "Payment method".
Can somebody talk me through what I need to change in the admin area in order to "buy" that imac?

You might want to start with the OC version

You can also search the forum (google is usually a better way to search)

Once you have read through the documentation you will be able to explain what you have done, where and on what version. That way someone will be able to replicate the error (if it is the version) or point you in the direction of the step that you missed.

Check your browser. Maybe you have pop ups blocked ?
The majority will advise you use OC3.x.x.x maintenance with php8 and not OC4 anyway.
