Opencart PayPal version does not install, configure.

Hi all,

i am trying to use the Opencart version of PayPal.
But the last step to proceed does not work.

I need to receive an email, but i do not get any email for it.
What can be the issue, and also it says there is a newer version available. But when i download it its from 2 years ago.
Installer says its already installed.

I assume you are using https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=38358.

The date on the download page is confusing. I would assume it's the date that extension was originally uploaded. Version 3.1.6 is the latest and was released about 2 week ago.

If you can't get that version to work, try using the Get Support option on the above extension page.

When i download the version i need, and i try to install it via the installer. it gives me the following error message.
Extension already installed, but on the extension it self it say: New PayPal Checkout Integration version available. You can download it here!

Could be a problem with your server sending email?

can you please elabirate ?
do i need to set this up in opencart, or you mean from my hosting provider some issues?

I dont think its the server, more the opencart? because gmail the same.

is the getclearthinking extension in this case better? from Johnathan?

Johnathan's extensions are the best, as is his support.

You can put it as resolved,

My solution: bought an external extension of getclearthinking from Johnathan.

His extensions are always up-to-date and support is also great.
Opencart version you need to wait longer.
