The webpage says "Store Not Running"
The "Cloud Stores" says the domain status us "Active"
I got an email with a password, and I assumed I'd just go to the /admin directory to login but that doesn't work. I don't see any instructions on what to do now?

I logged in at /admin
An alert pops up saying "Rename admin directory" and gives an input field. So I put in a new directory name in the field, clicked the button, and the button is giving me a spinning image like it's working on something. But it's been 5 minutes and it's still just spinning...

I went back to the store domain and it works: https://carguygarage.opencart.shop/
I went to what should be the old admin directory that shouldn't work, but it still does: https://carguygarage.opencart.shop/admin
I went to what should be the new admin directory, and it works, but re-directs me to the old /admin directory once logged in.
And the same alert comes up asking me to re-name the admin directory.
Maybe it needs more time to complete whatever it's doing? But it's been 15 minutes now...

Oddly I don't understand this webpage on the OC site -
https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cloud/landing
There is a section on that page called "Themes and Extensions" which literally shows the "Journal" logo. But now logged into the cloud admin, and looking at the "Extension Marketplace" there is no Journal to be found.
I also don't know how I'd install all the API's I use from https://opencart-api.com
I like the concept of the cloud version, but I'm guessing I'm better off sticking with running my own server. Oh well.

Consider using OpenCart on your own server. This way you have more control in modifying it the way you. And, of course, don't use the Journal3 framework, too many issues with the latter and not complying to OpenCart standards.

Also been playing with Laravel on some side projects, wish OC would jump to that for v5 - it's pretty sweet.

Opencart 2 or 3 on your own server would be my choice. You have much more flexibility and control.head_dunce wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 12:26 amI canceled the subscription to the cloud store so the page is showing "Store Not Running" now because it's been canceled. Glad there was a 7 day free trial.
