Do we have any idea how much longer it will be before 4.1.0.0 is officially released.

OC comes for free, and it heavily depends on others help, but a steady growing amount of people just seem to expect it to be a free Moneymaker Software, fully tested and working flawless, wich is just not the case. So, better than complaining would be, to be of assistance, at least from my point of view.
Just to have it pointed out, so, better get down to real Earth, or then, look around for something else ...

Once OpenCart 4.1.0.0 is finished, it would make sense to do a public beta release first for a few weeks, to give the public a chance to test it all out and to provide feedback and bug reports. And afterwards do a stable 4.1.0.0 release.

Doesn't OC 3.0.3.9 use jQuery version 2.1.1 ?

Both the OC 3.0.3.9 and OC 3.0.4.0 use JQuery version 3.7.0 .head_dunce wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 10:33 pmDoesn't OC 3.0.3.9 use jQuery version 2.1.1 ?

For the most current information, you might want to keep an eye on the OpenCart community forums and the official OpenCart website.

From past experience I reckon there won't be a new stable OpenCart till later this year. For the time, I recommend OC 3.0.4.0 as the most stable version, with a good backward compatibility for previous OopenCart 3 versions in terms of 3rd party extensions, and which has full PHP 8.x compatibility and a number of security and/or bugfixes.paulfeakins wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 7:21 pmFrom Daniel yesterday:Source: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/discussions/12531Daniel wrote:

And the developers for the extensions are also enough to have the proper ones.
For me the Back-end can be more modernized, its out-dated compared to other ones.
A lot to do by yourself, instead of extra already filled in fields etc.
Editor can be modified, to get a better stable one etc.
Overall 4x is also good, will need to update, audit my shop to improve some fields to get it faster, but OK.
