If you've exceeded your bandwidth limit again consider moving to a host that offers unlimited bandwidth such as Antropy.

Could be many.

1. what is the bandwith limit of you account (maybe it's too low)
2. how many visitors you have each day
3. how many page view you have each day
4. how many products and categories you have
5. how many images you are using at each product
5.1 what is the size of each image

And a few more facts good to know and are the reasons why your bandwith exceeds so often.

You'd only know for sure as to what causes your bandwidth problems by taking a look at your server's raw access log. This will give you a good idea about the kind of web traffic. It could be anything, like genuine regular site visitors, unwanted web crawlers, or even a DDoS attack.

Bandwidth usage across all our sites jumped up about a year ago, mostly from the search engines doing more indexing.

We had the same experience. Many of the so-called spiders/crawlers are from proper search engines, such as Ahrefs or Semrush etc. We have a list of hundreds of fake crawlers being blocked in the '.htaccess'.

This is the likely culprit. Either .htaccess rules or a firewall to help filter this traffic will take care of it. Open a ticket to your hosting company and ask them to confirm the source of the bandwidth to make sure it's abusive bots or actual increase in legitimate traffic.

You should share this for the OP, or the OP could increase their bandwidth limit.

Or a third option is for the OP to add a 'Crawl-Delay':

A good starting point would be the list from https://tab-studio.com/en/blocking-robots-on-your-page/
