Hi there

I need Danish as my eShop ( Version 4.0.2.3 )Language, so i started this translating task.

1# Coming to info/contact. The form will not validate (name, email and/or message) on sending,
2# And ?route=account/register&language=da regardless if all inputs are correct it fails.. So i seams all form is failing?

Do some one have some pointers or is this a bug? There is no errors in the error.log (all debug is on)

Thanks in Advance ;)

If all debugs were on, you would know what and where to look. See your server error logs and your developers kit on your browser when submitting the form for any errors. Also switch back to the en-gb version and see if you can reproduce the issue.

Does the default english still work? Have you used the web browser developer tool network tab to check the data being submitted is correct?

4.0.2.3 languages installation doesn't work like old oc versions.....to just uploading using FTP, then enabled from localisation...

Check language example from here

Clone the examle lang. (German). fixed Classes and lang. files, uploaded it, installed it.. Did not worked.

And even trying to USE the example, forms are failing (First Name must be between 1 and 32 characters!) ...

Hi ,

I have face such problems. some time some character in other language make problem while submitting the data database. Except english langugage.
You can try following way.
1. Change character of danish language some word. which you think is seems making problem
2. Normally we change the format of text to "UTF-8 BOM". I am not sure but your danish language word should support UTF-character.
please make sure to check that. or use online UTF converter. https://www.browserling.com/tools/utf8-encode something like that.
3. if you still facing issue. feel free to reply this post. contact me: at: https://devinlabs.com/
