how to set shop page as a home page

Hey there,
I am new here, I would appreciate your help if anyone could guide me on how to set shop page/or a specific category page as my home page.
Besides that, I wanted to install a theme, but everytime I tried to upload the zip file it says error.
Is there any guide of how I could do that

Contact the theme developer.

Don't upload the ZIP File, unpack it locally and upload it's Content.
