The recommended way to change the language in the OpenCart admin is by installing language packs. Language packs are available for different languages and can be easily installed through the admin panel. Here's how:
- Log in to your OpenCart admin panel.
Navigate to "Extensions" > "Extension Installer."
Upload the language pack file (usually a .zip file) that you've downloaded or acquired.
Once the language pack is uploaded successfully, go to "Extensions" > "Modifications" and click the "Refresh" button to update the modifications.
Now, go to "System" > "Localisation" > "Languages."
You should see the newly installed language listed. Click the "Insert" button to add it. Enter the language details, including the language name and code, and save.
Go to "System" > "Settings," edit your store, and set the "Admin Language" to the newly installed language.
Save your changes.
