We had our first order on OpenCart yesterday - order number 2129. Then the second order came in it was 2132.
What happened with order numbers 2130 and 2131?
Anyone seen order numbers skip? Maybe two other customers has placed an order then abandoned the cart?

see this is getting confusing for the users, as 3.0.x.x_Maintenance branch which supports PHP 8.2.paulfeakins wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 11:40 pmThose versions of OpenCart and PHP are not compatible.
and go to github and download the latest and in the admin panel the user will be greeted with 3.0.3.8, most wont know the difference.
Code: Select all
<?php
// Version
define('VERSION', '3.0.3.8');

Right, but you're not using OC 3.0.3.8 then, you're using 3.0.x.x_Maintenance.KandC wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 6:49 amI was given the PHP 8.2 version on this very forum. Does is really matter? The point is OpenCart works with PHP 8.2paulfeakins wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 7:41 pmRight, but you're not using OC 3.0.3.8 then, you're using 3.0.x.x_Maintenance.KandC wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 6:49 amI was given the PHP 8.2 version on this very forum. At the bottom of my Admin it still has
OpenCart © 2009-2023 All Rights Reserved.
Version 3.0.3.8
Sadly it does matter, on further posts you will be better saying its the " maintenance release version "

Well, think about it. If you were describing a problem with your car on a forum and you told everyone it was a Ford Fiesta but it was a BMW 5 Series, would it matter?
But that's exactly the point. Some versions do and some versions don't. So you'd be better off stating the correct version.
That should be changed in the maintenance branch. However, you know it's not that version because you installed a different version.
