[SOLVED] No emails sent. Is that normal?

Hello,

When I make an order on the website, or send the contact form, no email is being sent neither to the customer nor to the store owner.
Is that normal? Do I have to change the settings somewhere to change that?

Please let me know somebody. Much appreciated.

Emails should be sent. What are you mail settings set to in the OpenCart settings? What is your OpenCart version and PHP version?

There are many reasons for this, please search this forum as many have been solved and answered.

Hello, thanks for reply. I didn't know there are "Mail" settings and that the Mail Engine has to be set to Mail. But I know now and it is working. Thanks a lot.
