OpenCart 4.0.2.0 was released today (April 18, 2023). Here is the direct download link:

https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=cms/download

Here is a list of changes on github:

https://github.com/opencart/opencart/re ... ag/4.0.2.0

The biggest change seems to be related to payment extensions, so all payment extensions will need to be updated before they are compatible with the new 4.0.2.0 syntax.

Any bugs you encounter can be reported in the OpenCart 4.0 Bug Forum, or on github.

I think reporting bugs are useless....because are not fixed....
Example:

Upgrade Service | OC 2.3.0.2 PHP 8 | My Custom OC 3.0.3.8 | Buy me a beer

It would have made more sense to first release a 4.0.2.0-beta, to give users and developers some time to test it all, and to report bugs, before making a final release. Instead we saw the release of 4.0.2.0, which had still some bugs, and a few hours later the new 4.0.2.1 release.

First of all, thanks for all the hard work that went into the development of OpenCart 4.0.2.0 and 4.0.2.1.

However, I can't yet recommend any of the OpenCart 4 releases for a live website.

Just tested the OpenCart 4.0.2.1 for a couple of hours, and it still has a number of serious issues:
Admin backend order editor corrupting historic order details
Admin order editor bug: Lost payment method
Wrong variables for mail/order_invoice.twig
Missing variables for account/subscription_info.twig

See also these bugs recently reported by others:
Administration Sales order - Price view
Extension code and file name
Language bug
Carousel interval is not defined when the value is empty in BO

and probably more to come...

If you would like to help, you can send the code edits via GitHub and they will apply this fix.

I use Opencart version 4.0.2.0 and I added some changes from the backend(Admin pannel). It is a preview from the site but there is no update in the source code file. So what is the best way to edit code from the backend or source code file?

Your post is so vague, no details for anyone to be able to help you. Also, have you even read this forum thread? OpenCart 4 isn't yet suitable for live websites as of 4.0.2.1! Getting there, hopefully, in the next release, until then use the 3.0.x.x_Maintenance version for production websites.
