Hello all,

I'm having some troubles after installing Opencart v4.0.2.1 on my webhosters webspace.

I did a clean install on the webhosters FTP server, modding the config.php in the website root and Admin folder
to make a connection to an existing database.

This seemed to work as I can see and edit my products and catogories. Some elements are missing in the back and front office however.
The websites layout is missing elements, this can be seen in Design > Layouts > Home for example*.
No 'Homepage slideshow' of 'Category banner' can be selected, this leads to an empty only text webshop homepage*.

Another observation is the empty Extensions list (Extenions > Extensions) in the back office. I managed to add a theme and some payment
options, before this nothing was listed and all categories listed (0)*.

I did follow instructions provided when making a link to my existing database during setup*.

I'm using 'CiMarket - Multipurpose Opencart 4x Theme' but the errors occure with the default theme aswell.
No additional languages have been installed.

Any help or tips are greatly appriciated, I can't seem to figure this one out myself.

* see attached screenshots.

Kind regards,
Mark

What version did you upgrade from?

Have you checked that all the new files were uploaded correctly?

Thanks for replying ADD Creative,

My previous OpenCart version was v3.0.2.0. I did verify that all files from the 'Upload' directory of the v4.0.2.1 zip-file where uploaded to the FTP server.

Kind regards,
Mark

Make sure all files get uploaded.
From your screenshots it is like not all Opencart files get uploaded to the server.
Second screenshot give impression of Opencart version upgrade, am I correct or I just assume ?

By default Opencart automatically install demo data when a clean installation is done.

Check both the OpenCart and PHP error logs. Also check your config.php and admin/config.php values like DIR_EXTENSION.
