I am installing Open Cart 4 on local Windows 10 and XAMPP to test.
I downloaded the latest XAMPP and installed.
Installed OpenCart 4 without any issues.
When I remove the Install folder I get the errors for
Unknown: Creation of dynamic property Opencart\System\Library\Request::$request is deprecated in H:\xampp2023\htdocs\127.0.0.100\public_html\system\library\request.php on line 27
Anybody having similar issues?
It works fine on my hosted site so I assume the issue is XAMPP?
Regards

That is a very bad situation.
I installed opencart 4 as it was advertised as the new product.
Why allow a product that is not ready for production t be available and advertised as the one to use?
A bit disappointed as now I would have to redo my entire shop and database as I don't think I can downgrade from 4 to 3?
And if I do this, I also have to downgrade my php from 8 to 7
Thanks anyway

We have no control over what is or is not advertised, we are just individuals who try to assist you.
FYI It has always been the case to wait and ask before installing a newly released OC version. They are released and tested by the community. We have been saying for a very long time now that OC4 should not be used on production sites.
Reinstall Opencart 3.x.x.x maintenance on a subdomain
Use php admin for your database tables - Do it one by one of necessary - it is not such a big job even for a novice.
You can hire a developer to do it for you.
Whilst your frustrations are understood, we are not the place to address them.

Why not just start using the Opencart Cloud which is terrific. I built a site on it and it just takes a few minutes.
