Recently I have been having a problem with my 2.0.1.1 version of Opencart, It seems to have 'bottleneck' problem, when suddenly everything takes ages to load, when its moving to a new page or elements of that page are slow to download. It then seems to free itself and everything is okay. It's putting customers off from using the site as they get fed up of waiting. I've disabled all the VQMods and run them one at a time but this doesn't seem to sort the issue out. Error logs are clear.

You can see the website here: www.burntstuff.com Any suggestions would be welcome.

You have to contact the Journal support for this because you are not using the proper OpenCart framework.

Also, check for bruteforce attacks.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Well that could be any one of about a million things

Perhaps you could pay a developer such as ourselves or post a job in the Commercial Support Forum.

On first look and analysis by GTMatrix and Google page speed insight. it seems your website is running correctly and passed every test. Your site is slow may be one of these reasons.
1. Check your hosting server harddisk is full or almost full
2. Temp files are not generating correctly
3. Ram is getting used due to some corn job or over traffic. Check the process of the server
4. There must be some bot crawling your site and making your site unusable.
5. Maybe hosting has a problem going on you do not know.
6. It's time to move to another hosting plan shared with VPS. Maybe traffic is not handled correctly by your existing hosting plan
7. check your DB storage if full or not

There might be many other reasons present. But it would be best if you talked with your hosting provider to seek answers to the above questions. Also, they are the ones who will clearly tell you why your site is opening slow. or taking time.
