Hello I have a problem.
I'm modifying a theme but nothing I do works in the footer.
It looks like it's not loading any modules.

For example, when I go to the layout designer and add something to the footer, it doesn't appear.

I've looked at the files, it seems to be ok.
Could anyone help how to proceed to resolve.

the footer is

Have you checked your changes appear in the storage/modification folder?

So inside that directory there are folders created
system/storage/modification
catalog
controller
view
Following controller and view I can see footer.tpl file but the modules don't seem to have effect with it

Opencart version 2.3.0.2
PHP 7.0
Theme Cosyone and the modules too
Elsewhere the modules load normally.
I made changes in the designer of the baseboard but that was not what affected it, because even in the original theme the modules do not load.

In order for customers to be able to edit the footer I had to add some extra functions in the theme's designer module, now they can change colors and change fonts and some functions.

More module does not load.
And I wanted to add some extra functions that some modules have to avoid having to create everything manually.

OpenCart 2.x does not have an option to edit the footer. It sounds like the functionality is added by you theme, so you will probably be best contacting the theme developer for support.

I understood
So in this case I will have to manually add the function.
I know how to edit the footer.
I just couldn't include the module.
In fact it would be a newslatter module, I even added more but the option to add emails did not work.
I'll take another look at it calmly and see how to fix it.
I already left the theme 90% editable by the administrator
