I am getting spammed with registrations had to put site into maintenance mode to stop it, my site has small traffic so dont need customers to register so would be quite happy to do away with it but cant see how to turn it off
I would be quite happy just to remove the link/text from the page but been a long time since I built site cant remember which php file I need to modify

thanks for replies I know I need to fix this properly, but no time until weekend so I just removed the line of text for register in the theme header file so it no longer shows in account drop down box see if that helps for now,
there is still another way to select register if you hit login as it takes you into another page with a list under account with login, register, forgotten password, my account, address book etc etc but I cant find which file this menu is under will see if removing register on header is enough for now
