Hi:
I know this has been asked before, but I thought I had this under control for a while. I removed all the "login" links from the homepage. However, now I think the "problem" customers are adding an item to their shopping cart to get access to the "create account" page. The "new customers" usually arrive with a name that looks like code or a long password. I've been blocking their IP addresses, but that can go on forever. I have basic Captcha and using v3.0.3.8 Thanks!

Captchas are pretty useless nowadays against Spambots. Our SpamBot Buster uses a different approach and should be able to fully prevent fake account registrations.
Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig
You could use our invisible CAPTCHA:

Thank you everyone for the help and good suggestions! I did sign up for the Google V2 captcha, but I can't see any "are you a robot" prompts anywhere. Do I need to install any code to get that going, or is it not working because I've removed some of the "create new account" links?
Have you set the settings in the Captcha section of the Option tab in System -> Settings?
