Hi guys, I used to be able to add simple pop-up messages on my homepage and cart page with the previous versions of Opencart.
Namely in these locations:
/catalog/view/theme/default/template/checkout (cart.tpl)
/catalog/view/theme/default/template/common (home.tpl)
The current version is Opencart 3.0.3.6, the away message does not appear when I tried the same method that used to work.

It is not recommended to directly edit the default files, that being said, which files did you add the script to in 3.x?

You can add the script in those files, save them, and clear both caches and refresh modification to see if it works.
If it doesn’t then you may have to provide more info including possibly posting the script code here.
