What is the new language to replace PHP? If someone were to make a social networking site like Facebook, what language would you recommend to them, taking into consideration the few million people on at any single given time, speed, efficiency, etc.?

Mobile applications are the latest evolution. The reason why Facebook has their own structured language is because they do have their own architect teams as they are able to afford them. If you're also able to afford such new solutions, better to have your own meeting rooms in the Industry (or on Teams at this time of life) to recruit all the specialized people that will be able to do it.

Dedication and passion goes to those who are able to push and merge a project.
