EDIT*** I seem to have narrowed it down to an issue with radio selections. Checkbox selections don't allow to be empty but radio does, I hope this helps with an explanation.

Hi, On my product page I have quite a few options which I have set all to required but when I test out my front shop the product is being allowed to add to cart even if some of the options are left empty. The red required star is showing but no error message if left empty.
I have inspected the code and from what I can see all fields are showing required in the code so i'm a bit stuck as to what could be wrong.
Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Try to disable your Conditional Options / Dependent Options extension temporarily and test without it.

Thanks DigitCart, if I do this will I loose all the dependant options I have set up once I enable it again? That’s a LOT of work to loose so I need to be careful.

I do not think so, but it is better to make a backup before doing anything. You can inform the author of the extension and ask for help.

OSWorX It may well be to do with the extension but I have narrowed it down to an issue with the radio buttons is what I am saying. Checkboxes and Radioboxes are both set to required - the checkbox is working but the radio box is not working. Having checked the code in both the original files and the extension files I can't see any differences from the checkbox or radiobox that would cause this.
