I am a 22 year student. My project this term is to build a (made up) business website which will help the business grow. We use the enterprises we developed 1 and a half years ago and have used them for each task. My business is an apparel brand. I really know HTML and CSS but don't know anything about PHP or Javascript etc. I'm trying to figure out a way I could incorporate opencart system functions into my website's main content. I'm using ecommerce store opencart and was told that it was one of the easiest ecommerce stores to build on. The ("Cart & Search functions") function I'm trying to add is. The wagon reveals the quality

Welcome to Opencart.
Unfortunately, under the terms given, you'll have no chance, to suceed,
because HTML and CSS only play a 'minor' part (older Versions) in OC,
and later Versions use TWIG, instead of 'regular' HTML in their Themes,
whatever 'regular html' means ..., what makes it even worse, if
one is only used to HTML Code. You therefore need a qualified Professional,
if you really plan, to get anywhere.
Good Luck!

Well if you want to learn something that will help you in the furture learn TWIG. Also if you know HTML the leap to TWIG is not that great.

It is not that simple to incorporate Opencart functions into your website's main content. But I hope you can do it.

There are ways (as stated above not so simple) to combine two systems but the simplest way is to have two stand alone systems connected in the header to connect to shop and connect back to site.

It is also possible (and simpler) to incorporate a basic site (html) into Opencart than Opencart into a basic site.
