Hello again!
I have oc 3.0.3.3, and many extensions doesn't work as it should.
As a new site I can install all over again..
Which OC version is stable for an ecommerce now.
Less problems..etc or even 2.3.0.2.
Download page does not say which is beta..or stable.
Github I don't understand what to choose..
Thanks very much!

If they have not been created for OC3 they will not work. OC2 uses php and OC3 uses twig - in short this means that what you “see” will not work. The version for OC3 would have to be downloaded (if exists) or converted (which many developers will do, but often good idea to ask extension developer first)I have oc 3.0.3.3, and many extensions doesn't work as it should.
This is a good stable version. Many developers like it.Less problems..etc or even 2.3.0.2.
There is a github with fixes by xxvirusxx for this, someone after me I am sure will provide the link.
I love OC3 and I love twig - it is unusual around here.Re: Which OC version...would you recommend me?
Personally stay away from the 2 new versions 3.0.3.5 and 3.0.3.6 and actually for no obvious reason I like 3.0.3.2 but the newest site I am developing is 3.0.3.3 and I have no real issues with it. So my suggestion would be to bite the bullet and upgrade your extensions, but many will disagree.

I really am in "conflict" with myself, I would like to use OC2.3.0.2 for stability reasons, but I recognize that it is necessary to evolve !!
It's hard for me to decide.
The link of xxvirusxx would be greatly appreciated to see how I can improve OC
Thanks for your answer!!
You can test both and decide

well,
V2 has:
php as template language
ftp settings
no bot handling
most bugs gone by now
V3 has:
twig as template language
theme editor (avoid)
language editor (never used)
no ftp settings (no need)
more but incomplete multi-lingual support, poorly implemented
multi-lingual seo urls
ability for adding your own seo urls
no bot handling
many bugs above 3.0.3.3
less extensions than V2 obviously
I.e. Apart from the version availability of must-have extensions for you, if you don't want to learn twig and/or have no need for some multi-lingual support, use V2, otherwise use V3 but don't go above 3.0.3.3.

So ... if you had to make a site for your client and you are going to use oc2.3.0.2, would you use this one?
I have found the modules that always worked for me with oc2.3.0.2 so I would avoid all that issue.
Would you recommend me to install and work with this one that you gave me the link?
I add that.. above it will go "journal 3 last version for oc2.3.
Please don't throw rocks at me for naming Journal, I'm used to doing what I want with Journal, (it´s easy for me).
Thanks for your time and willingness to help.

Thank you very much @letxobnav
Your answer has been extremely clear.
Thank you!
I like more 2.3.0.2 version than 3.0.x.x version.

xxvirusxx,
You mention your version of 3.0.3.6 contains bug fixes. Which bug fixes does it contain? I'm just curious if it picks up all of the various random bug fixes that weren't included in the official OC 3.0.3.6 release.

Paul
