Hi, everyone!

I have noticed that after a customer clicks on the "Confirm Order" button the customer is taken to the successful processing page.

However,
- OC does not send either the customer or the administrator order confirmation email.
- OC does not show the customer the transaction in Order History.
- OC does not show the order in the Sales ---> Orders section.

In conclusion, it is as if it had never been done BUT I check the database and the order information is there.

What could be going on there? Is there a bug?

I use OC 3.0.3.2 and Journal theme.

Best regards,

Did you try all that by Use of the Default OC Theme ?
It's rather related to Journal Functions, but for that,
you need to contact Journal Support, not Opencart.

Are you config.php and admin/config.php pointing at different databases?

Probably not with OC itself.

And one of Journal's one page checkouts? If so that could be the problem as they're full of bugs.

Well, Journal's theme let me choose between their One page checkout and OpenCart checkout. I've never used the Journal page payment.

Check all your events are enabled. Admin->Extensions->Events.

Backup and learn how to recover before you make any changes!

So they are in the "missing order" status?
If so there is a hand-off (back) from the payment module that should be happening that doesn't. Is "Free checkout payment" part of Journal?
