Several times a day, most images and some labels will disappear, and I get undefined index errors. My site usually goes back to normal if I just go into edit store settings, even without saving the settings. One time I had to switch to maintenance mode and back to live - that seems to always do the trick. This issue only appears to affect the frontend. Backend is working perfectly fine.
Any idea what's causing this? I'm not really sure where to start looking.

Additional info:
- oc 2.2, Journal v. 2.16.8 installed
- This has only been happening for 2-3 days. As far as I'm aware, this problem had never occurred before that.
- I was working on a custom module when this happened. Uninstalling the module did not fix the problem. Maybe I accidentally moved some system files when I was tinkering with the module?
- I restored a backup version of catalog folder. Didn't fix it.
- Clearing cache didn't seem to work.
- Cleared browser cache, cookies, etc. Problem persists on multiple browsers and devices, so it doesn't seem like a browser issue.
UPDATE 20-05-10: since posting this, the issue has NOT reappeared. Whatever the problem was, it seems to have resolved itself. Weird.
