Yes ive tried clearing caches its as if in my sales section it does not see the newly created statuses it only shows the old ones. there must be somewhere in the database that can be edited to fix this.

Thanks for your reply.

as far as I can tell both use the same function, are you browser caching perhaps?

well, the order stati are cached in the OC object cache file order_status.LANGUAGE_ID in your cache directory.
You could check the contents of that file.

Well guys i got to the bottom of it eventually and it wasn't anything to do with the order status database. I have a second copy on a server wth no template installed so I copied my full database to the other site and surprisingly it worked perfectly which says it has something to do with the journal 3 template I had installed. So ive taken that template off and replaced with the Antropy template recommended in the Jounal post above and everything is working as expected. Shame Journal was the cause but my support ran out and to pay for support every 6 months is just a joke so looks like i wont be using again.

Thanks for the input.

Journal 3 has nothing to do with order statuses from Admin.
And yes, you need to pay to renew for support, but at least you can download when a new version is out.

And not like some developers: Isense...for example  when you need to renew the licence every year.

I do think it is because of a journal 3 cache issue though.

There is no other explanation if I took my database and exported to a new site with no template installed and suddenly it worked as it should that clearly shows the problem was journal template Maybe theres another cache in journal.i didn't find we will never know.

In the store where order statuses doesn't work you use ocmod/vqmod extension?
But on new site?

Every module was transferred, the site is an exact duplicate with the exception of Journal 3 as i thought i'd get the site working then add the template at the end.

Make a temporary admin account on the store with journal3 and send me to PM.
I can take a look for free just for curiosity.

Only if you want.
