Hello Everyone,
I have an Opencart 3.0.2.0 with Journal 2. Recently when I try to login to the dashboard it takes a few minutes for me to get there, while I'm in the speed is fine to navigate through the dashboard. Also in the checkout page everything looks fine until you click the last button to continue with payment it will work but very very slow it takes 2-3 minutes.

The website speed is fine just these two places I mentioned above.

I checked the error log and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it but this is what it shows:
2019-11-12 21:17:31 - PHP Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in xxx/public_html/system/library/template/Twig/Environment.php(403) : eval()'d code on line 3660
2019-11-12 21:18:35 - PHP Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in xxx/cache/25/2500c25424d84dc5db8b09ad03e9fca0bc225f86a239ea7d778ced60d99cd347.php on line 3660

I would really appreciate any help.

I don't think that error is related but with speed issues it can be necessary to do quite a few diagnostic tests so it might be worth paying a developer from the Commercial Support Forum (such as ourselves) to look in to this for you.

Your store have been hacked, there's a 99% chance of it judging from the issue. I can look into this, if you wish, I already had an experience with the similar exploit. Drop me an email or send a message in Skype, if interested.

I thought that but I checked the template in question in a fresh install and it does use eval, so it may not be a hack.

This hack doesn't affect template files, it affects controllers and models only. And since Twig is a completely dumb engine, it returns irrelevant error. Not the first time he does that actually.

the template does not use eval, twig uses eval, extensively, so I think you are barking up the wrong tree.
