My current web host keeps screwing up the install of OC on their server and my website. In the last 2 weeks we have created 8 different databases and installed OC 10 different times and they still cannot figure out how to get OC and my website installed and working. We spent 6 hours last night TRYING to get OC installed in the root folder and after that time they still couldn't get OC installed, so it had to get bumped up to a tech specialist overnight. This morning I get an email saying that OC was finally installed in the root directly. Great! So I contact the "good" tech that I am comfortable working with and who knows what needs to happen and I ask him to use my zip file and my sql file and see if he can get the site up and working. He couldn't. So he bumps the issue back up the chain to a specialist and a few hours later I get an email indicating:

"I have removed the Opencart installation from http://www.baselinesuspensions.com/ and I have installed Opencart via Mojo marketplace using the following credentials:
Domain: removed
admin: removed
Username: removed
Password: removed
Please check the installation from your end. You can log in to the admin panel at http://www.removed... and reset the admin password"

I have no idea what MoJo is or why OC was "removed". My current website becomes unusable in about 10 days. Is there a webhost that specializes in the use of OC that I can transfer my domain to and that WILL HELP ME get my OC site up and running?

Regards,
Kevin

The webhosts I've used over the years haven't been interested in learning it and don't generally offer support. Sometimes you can get them to click the OC install button on the Softalicious installer in Cpanel but mostly they just point you there to do it yourself. A good reliable and affordable opencart monkey is priceless but becoming a rare creature. IMO take as much on as you can yourself and try and be self sufficient as much as possible. :)

PS. They're referring to Mojo marketplace. https://www.mojomarketplace.com

My preferred method is always download the package from the Opencart official website and install via good old FTP.

You don't really need a hosting provider, which specializes on OC. They won't cover all the aspects of OC management anyway. There're 2 options, which you have here:

1. Choose any hosting provider you like and hire s tech guy to manage your OC for you. It will require additional payments, but totally worth in the end.

2. Switch to e-commerce platforms like Shopify or BigCommerce. They will do everything for you and prices are more than affordable. The biggest downside here: these platforms are much less customizable, than OC.

Perfect example of the BS I've had to deal with on an hourly/daily basis:
Given the link that they gave me I logged into the Mojo thus the OC login page and the OC control panel was seen. I then clicked on the Catalog button to see if any of my files were installed and this is all I see. :-[

We can properly install OC for you. We don't do any work beyond this (design / development) though. If you're interested, see the link in my signature. We host many other Opencart sites.

Evolve does which is why I use them. See link in my footer.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
