So we're selling products all over the world, and now want to optimize the sites for the countries, so we want to translate them.
What is the best way forward? Creating multi-store? or just adding languages and translations.
We want to run localized ads, and would like localized seo.
Also what is the best way for the domain? like
- domain.com/uk/products
- or uk.domain.com/products
- or domain.co.uk/products
Just create a multilingual site and translate all the info. You can add language prefixes to URLs with SEO extension, no need to create another OC instance.

Yeah, I don't really see a point to create multiple stores in your case. Harder to manage this way.

Language prefix in URL has nothing to do with any theme. Only some template modifications might require customization for particular theme.
