Extensions copied TMD "ashwani_multi" Developers and Customers BE AWARE

Hi all,

It has come to my attention that some of the developers we work closely with have had their extensions copied by TMD. Out of all the extensions we use on our websites I had found 5 had been copied. As these were extensions I knew well I could see clearly the similarities between them so I suggest all developers to check their extensions and make sure that they are not copied also.

So far these are the extensions copied and have been removed by opencart, see screen shot.

Opencart should have a no-nonsense approach with this developer TMD (ashwani_multi) and any extension thieves steeling others work and ideas period...(changing code as so it looks unique but ascetically the extension is almost identical) They should be removed all together as this is not acceptable behavior. What is your thoughts???

Yes. Developers Like this should be Banned. Wasting Time of other developers.
They don't have creativity. Hence spending time on stealing other developers work.

There might be more extensions copied. Request other developers to check their work.
There should be no place for developers like this on Opencart.

I confirm, this developer copied the code of my extension.
Thanks to the OpenCart team and Dave for the help.

We have already found 6 extensions from ashwani_multi (TMD), where they use the stolen code. 6 extensions, Carl!
These modules was removed from Marketplace and his deceived customers have lost support and access to updates.

Developers, urgently check the TMD extensions with the same functions as yours, you may find your code there.

Buyers, be careful! Buying fraudulent modules, you may lose support if the extension is removed from the Marketplace for copyright infringement.

Opencart team needs to do more here! Surely allowing this developer to continue selling extensions on the opencart platform is not in anyone's interest? Will Opencart let more customer be deceived? We as customers purchase extensions from opencart site thinking it has OC backing or at least they will be there when we have problems, often purchasing here other than directly from the developers sites because of this just so we have the support from OC.

which module you are give list , there nothing copy in code 1% , opencart team already verify that , Yes its true there Design same , and that module down
in these module even code not 1 % copy
there many developer who start copy our modules , no body talked in that time
go module list and compare you will get ans your self ,
who create this topic must be check this thing

its bootstrap class , strange thing , on of developer told you copy and you start a topic , i know who told you and i talked with that person already

Everyone know that's a Bootstrap Class.
The smart people have observed here the class name that also got copied into your extension.

It was a custom name created by the developer how can it come in your extension?
How are all designs matching 100% in 6 Extensions?

Not One developer there are several developers who reported. Read the top post again.
3 Developers reported. And you Copied 6 Extensions Designs 100%.

You Copied that is the fact. Opencart checked and Blocked it. They are not blind.

You may get all your Extensions Up which took us Years to develop.
As they were updated from time to time.
We have put our hard work into it. And we are proud of the software we created.

You just come up see all the features make an extension in a month. Its called Copy. And Hence you were reported.

On chat I said you I would request. I have requested.

Besides this I also said, you should make modules from scratch from your own idea. And not copy other people's design , features anf idea. You are making the marketplace narrow with that approach for the Opencart customers.


Just by adding the extension , changing the design you are proving same thing . You are stealing some one's idea. It's not good for long run.
